RUSTICO BALLSTON:

MAINE BEER COMPANY MINI TAP TAKEOVER:

Lunch IPA on Draft & More!

Monday, March 2nd, 2015 @ 6pm

Join us at Rustico Ballston this Monday as we tap some fantastic beers from our good friends up at Maine Beer Company!  Dan Kleban and his team have been crafting some of the finest brews on the East Coast since 2009, and we'll have a few of our absolute favorites on tap!

Peeper, a lean Pale Ale with a crisp finish; Lunch IPA which showcases bold flavors of tropical and citrus fruits; Another One IPA that displays a clean malt palate while finishing pleasantly dy; A Tiny Beautiful Something Pale Ale that utilizes El Dorado hops to contribute flavors of candied orange and citrus zest.  Finally, the silky smooth Mean Olt Tom Stout aged on a generous helping of organic vanilla beans.

There is no admission fee for this event and all Maine Drafts will be priced individually by the glass and 4 oz. tasting pours.

THE DEVILS BACKBONE COLLABORATION EVENT:

NoVa Debuts of Fat Head's, Coronado & Ninkasi Collabs & Many More on Draft & Cask!

Thursday, March 5th, 2015 @ 6pm

Devils Backbone, one of our favorite local, and highly-decorated breweries is coming to Rustico Ballston next Thursday to show off some of their newest collaboration brews.

Devils Backbone worked with Coronado to craft Devils Tale, a Black IPA using old, mid, and new school hops, while their collaboration with Ninkasi produced an Imperial Rye Pale Ale, and with Fat Head's they whipped up and Imperial IPA with a blend of Southern Hemisphere and German hops!

In addition to several year-round Devils Backbone brews, the crew from Virginia sent us some rare beers for the vent as well!  We'll have Carob Porter brewed with carob, sorghum, and vanilla; Barclay's London Dark Lager that is brewed off a 1930's recipe for an English-inspired Dark Lager; Beech Grove Brown Ale that is brewed with locally-malted barley and wheat; Dopple Vienna Bock, a ramped-up version of their award-winning Vienna Lager; Old Glen, a malt-driven English Strong Ale with hints of toffee and caramel; and Tommy Two Fists, an Export Lager showcasing delicate malt character.

Last but not least we will have 2
firkins on hand: Spring Equinox (Azreal with apricot, lychee fruit,
clove and lemon zest in the cask) and 8 Point IPA (dry-hopped in cask
with Simcoe hops)!

There is no admission fee for this event and all Devils Backbone Drafts will be priced individually by the glass and 4 oz. tasting pours.

Our Beer Director Greg Engert is compiling a rotating selection of notable beers, often a mix of large-format and/or regular-sized bottles, to be released on the second Monday of every other month. Your membership will get you the monthly bottle pack, as well as entry into an exclusive pick-up party, beginning at 4:00 PM on each Monday release day, with discounted drafts and passed bites exclusively available for Bottle Club members. Each member will also receive a limited edition tote bag for carrying the bounty of bottles. The next pick-up party will be held on March 9th.
